Diva Shows: Wendy’s talent shone brightly in the Diva shows produced by Mae “Lady Jazz” Wheeler’s Foundation. She lent her voice to six of these unforgettable performances, leaving an indelible mark on St. Louis’s musical landscape.

Legendary Partnerships: Wendy joined forces with the incomparable Ms. Jeanne Trevor, the revered “First Lady of Song.” Together, they graced stages across the city, including the Sheldon Concert Hall and Ethical Society. Their 5 New Year’s Eve concert in Grand Center remains etched in the hearts of all who attended.

Opening Acts: Wendy’s band had the honor of opening for renowned artists. In 2017, they set the stage for the Stylistics, the celebrated R&B group, at Harris Stowe State University. And in 2004, Wendy herself opened for the acclaimed flutist Bobbie Humphrey.

The Jazz Heaven Series
Author and Producer: Wendy’s creativity knows no bounds. She birthed the Jazz Heaven Series—a musical odyssey that blends jazz, poetry, and storytelling. With 14 series produced to date, Wendy continues to weave magic through her art. The 15th will be April 12, 2025, at Florissant Performing Arts Center, at 4 pm

A Divine Vow: Wendy’s commitment to the Jazz Heaven Series is unwavering. She’ll keep producing these soul-stirring performances if they align with the divine will.

Giving Back
Scholarships and Compassion: Gordon’s Entertainment, under Wendy’s leadership, has awarded over $3500 in scholarships to Sumner High School Seniors and Performing Artists facing illness. Her generosity uplifts the community she loves.
