Meaza Joy is a singer/songwriter, model, and actress mentored by Amanda Fish, Annika Chambers and many more. She is part of the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Youth and joins them in fundraising throughout the year in multiple cities. Meaza Joy has performed at notable venues like the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN (2024/25), up and down Beale Street during the BMA’s and IBC, the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, Rudy’s Jazz Room in Nashville with the Wooten brothers, and is a regular for the national anthem performance at City Park Arena for a St. Louis City MLS team and other events around St. Louis. She has played at Blues Houses and Juke Joints from the Delta to Chicago, Florida to California and everywhere in between.
Her soulful voice draws comparisons to Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Koko Taylor and Etta James. She performs in duo, trios or with her travel band (4-5 piece), or her full band 12 piece depending on the venue.
Meaza Joy has opened for the Amanda Fish Band on an extended Southwest US Tour in addition to joining countless touring acts on stage for partial sets, has been recording in Nashville TN since she was 9 years old, with her latest project releasing Jan. of 2026, “All At Once” on the album Cool New People produced by L.A. based Gigante Productions and featuring Chris Love and John Stamos. Her debut album, Free To Be Me, released in June of 2026 and produced by Blues Music Award (BMA) winning artist Annika Chambers and Paul Deslauriers, recorded in Houston at Sound Arts Studio and featuring BMA winning guitarist Paul Deslauriers, and Grammy and BMA winning musician and producer Tony Braunagal.
