Introducing BluesForever.org

PRESERVATION THROUGH PERFORMANCE

The Blues is more than music — it is a living history, a shared language, and the foundation of modern American music. At BluesForever.org, our purpose is simple: keep the Blues alive by performing it, teaching it, celebrating it, and passing it forward.

Born from the spirit and community created around the National Blues Museum jams in St. Louis, BluesForever.org continues that musical energy through live performances, mentoring, collaboration, and education. We believe the best way to preserve the Blues is not by placing it behind glass, but by keeping it on stages, in jam sessions, and in the hands of musicians young and old.

THE NBM ALUMNI JAMMERS ARE COMING TO TO THE KEY STL!

Our mission is “Preservation Through Performance” — honoring the legends who created this music while inspiring future generations to discover and carry it forward.

Just like the Mississippi river, the National Blues Museum Alumni list runs long and deep. Join us on June 6th at The Key STL to witness the magic that is known as the NBM Alumni Jam!

From seasoned players to new listeners, BluesForever.org welcomes everyone who believes the Blues still matters. Through community events, live music, mentorship, and storytelling, we are dedicated to keeping the flame burning brightly for years to come.

As Willie Dixon famously said: “The Blues are the roots, and the other musics are the fruits.”

And at BluesForever.org, the roots run deep.
