Marquise Knox & The Funky Butt Brass Band closing down Music At The Intersection in front of a packed and fully energized crowd under The Big Top Sunday night 💯

I don’t think I’ve heard Quise sing any better. From my ears, his work with Funky Butt branches out into some deeper soul blues. Their combined version of OV Wright’s “A Nickel And A Nail” was both riveting, deep and wonderfully orchestrated. Like many in STL I’ve watched Marquise grow and mature over the years and he still keeps getting better ❤️

What’s been called the future for soooo long, has matured into fine wine today ❤️ Marquise Knox, King Solomon Hicks, Samara Joy, Dylan Triplett, Matt “The Rattlesnake” Lesch. This was so good to see live this weekend!💯

Rhythm City put on a great show Sunday and invited two STL jazz legends to join them. The great bassist Darrell Mixon and piano master Ptah Williams ❤️💯

The Robert Randolph Band laying it down with special guest King Solomon Hicks ❤️💯!

Eric Mcspadden & Friends — Rich McDonough, Sharon Bear and Joseph Pastor — working out the old Junior Wells classic “Messin’ With The Kid” ❤️💯. The acoustics there were great! Live from the WOW Stage in the alley.

Ms Hy-C & Fresh Start — “Earnestine”. Ms Hy-C looking for that lady who’s been messing with her man 👀 Once she gets done with her, we need her batting cleanup for the Cardinals! She put on one 🔥 of a show. Really hope to see Ms Hy-C playing out live more. Always great blues! ❤️💯 Music At The Intersection – Field Stage

As raindrops fall, Trombone Shorty blows high into the foreboding skies, lifting a packed crowd’s spirits. Including his back up singer’s ❤️💯 Trombone Shorty live and grooving, Music At The Intersection.

Boo Boo Davis & Paul Niehaus IV starting Sunday‘s Music At The Intersection off with only one sock on, but it’s “The Right Sock” ❤️🎶
